Time sure keeps flying.  I haven't updated the pictures this time.  This is just a quick blurb about the greatness of Destiny.  Today was her last day of kindergarten.  Her fall assignment will be first grade.  She, according to her report card met all expectations.  The comment from the teacher for the third trimester is as follows:

"Destiny is a strong reader and has made lots of progress in writing.  She can be prolific! I will miss her next year."

I don't think any teacher ever considered me prolific, so I am completely impressed by this.

In my opinion, she is a wise 6 year old who asks amazing questions. I hope that never changes, even when she drives me crazy with them.

Contact stuff is at the bottom, like always.

April 4, 2010

** Note ** - I wrote an update, and the program crashed mid-save.  Therefore, if I leave anything out, it is due to pure frustration.

It has been four months since the last updated.  So I will do my best to capture everything.

Christmas came. Christmas left. Kids got gifts. They enjoyed it.

In early January, I began working as a contractor for Symantec.  I really like my team and my supervisor.  I hope that this converts into a full time position, but the economy being the economy, no one knows for sure.  The only complaint I have is that my position is in Mt. View, which is a 45 minute drive in traffic. Some have it worse, but I don't do well in traffic.  Thank goodness baseball season is here!

Destiny turned 6 in February. She had her birthday party at Sharks Ice in Fremont.  She had a blast. Her party was in the afternoon and a friend of her's had a party that morning at a bounce place.  So, but the end of Destiny's party, we had two tired kids.

Destiny is doing great in school. In the notes section of her report card, her teacher said, "Destiny's memory continues to amaze me. She is always ready to answer a question. Academically, Destiny is high in all areas. She is friendly and playful at recess. What a great kid!"  Hopefully, she doesn't inherit my vanity.

Also, Zach is starting to potty train.  One of the first few times he tried it, he stood there, arch in his back, tongue out.  When his potty seat made the music, you could hear him through out the house, "Zachy did it!".

That's all for now. Here's to getting in an update before our birthdays!

And there are always pictures (even new ones) found on our Webshots page.

As always, you can reach Ron or Sheila by clicking their names to get to their e-mail address.
