We had a BBQ for the first time in a long while in honor of our birthdays.  We had quite a few people show up, some flake for good reason (gas prices), and some just flaked.  So, it was about par for the course, though, I thought we might have about half a dozen more show up than did.

There is a picture of some ribs below.  They are from today, not yesterday when I first cooked them.  I added about 20 to 30 minutes of low heat, and as you can tell by the bones in the picture after it, it did the job perfectly.  And yes, if you use Bad Byron's Baby Butt Rub, you really don't need BBQ sauce.  They are selling it at BBQ Galore now. Quite a good price.

Sheila asked for and received a bounce house for her birthday. Everyone had a blast.

Well, I do believe that is all I have.  I noticed that I hadn't taken many pics in the last month, and for those who don't know, my computer (which has the files for the website) was down for about two weeks, so that should explain the delay in update, and if you don't like it, you can send me $1k for a new laptop to handle everything I want on my main computer.

So, this was the first weekend of the Alameda County Fair for 2008. We took the kids for the main purpose of letting Destiny watch the Doodlebops. It was pretty much worth it. I should have the movie added just below this post, but if I don't, it is because the software here wouldn't let me.

We got some really decent pics of the kids at the fair.  Also, tonight was the first bath night that both kids shared the tub.  I got a few shots of that as well.  You should be able to see them in the collage below, but if not, they are on webshots.  I think I also e-mailed them to the grandparents.

Well, have a great night. Ciao.

And there are always pics (even new ones) found on our Webshots page.

As always, you can reach Ron or Sheila by clicking their names to get to their e-mail address.
